Torrenting at x1337x.cc

This site has gotten really difficult lately. Every time I click “Magnet Download” as I always have, I’m taken straight to pop-up hell and there’s no way out.

To get around this, from the torrent details page, I go to View Page Source (Ctrl-u), then search (Ctrl-f) for .torrent. Usually the second hit is the actual torrent link.

My browser (Microsoft Edge) is set up to open my torrent app automatically when I click a .torrent link. The app starts and I’m ready to start downloading.

Of course: ALWAYS use a VPN to torrent. My fave is Mullvad, which gets good reviews from others as well.

intact i never find what i want on x1337x.cc, i usually mostly find what i look for on a bunch of random ass video websites by searching in Google or some other search engine or looking through similar images from the google images section of a specific video until i find it somewhere.

When i tried to torrent porn i had no good luck like 99% of the time, i either didnt find the torrents for it or they were locked behind paywalls from a bunch of file hoster websites and/OR the torrent just didn’t find seeders so it never completed.

Hey, intact, what’s your add-on set up?

I use Firefox (but Edge is based on Chrome, and most of these should be available on Chrome based browsers) but Magnet Download doesn’t open up any pop ups on my end. I use the following;

uBlock Origin
Privacy Badger
Decentraleyes

Also, another option would be to use a torrent blacklist for your bit torrent client, I might have to dig around and see if I can find it, I should have it saved somewhere.
