A company/person that/who issues DCMA take-down notices does the daily/weekly/whatever rounds of sites from their list of known past infringers (or has a webcrawler/robot do it) looking for videos from their clients and slings off a bunch of takedown requests to the relevant sites.

I don’t think that they’re checking in here to see if the latest Jak Knife scene has been uploaded to sxyporn.
