It’s because you added a fistful of tags when you created the discussion, most of which were completely irrelevant.
One of the tags you added was the People tag which is what prevented your posts from showing in the default feed on the main page. This tag is reserved for a database of info about porn actors. The tag description said not to use it for discussions but I have now made that ALL CAPS so it will hopefully be harder to miss.
Just use the Chat tag for most of your posts.
