Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Arthur remake) has a new half-hour comedy talk show on FX showing right after the award winning Louie. On season 1 episode 1 he ventures into the audience and learns that a woman’s brother was circumcised at 13. He says (not that it shouldn’t be done, but) that it’s a late age. He goes on to describe circumcision very derisively as something nobody would choose, chopping the end of the penis off, etc.

This Brit may or may not have had a brit milah, but it’s refreshing to hear someone say nothing of “losing that nasty shit” when discussing circumcision in comedy.
