Everyone's opinion is valid. However, the way that you present that opinion will often have an effect on whether things are changed more to your liking or not.
If you have no real commitment to, or respect for, this site then sure, drop a turd to express your dissatisfaction. Don't let the door hit you on your poopy arse on the way out.
However, if you would like this to become a great site, then provide constructive criticism on what aspects you don't like and perhaps suggest what can be done change those aspects.
The original site (on aceboard) was old and clunky, and had the worst built-in search capability I've ever seen. However, it was well structured and organised, and mostly obvious where you went if you were just interested in vids/talk/whatever. That was because Facecmer did a pretty good job of setting up the original categories and then after 6 months or so (forgive me patting myself on the back) I saw how the categories were being used, renamed a few to better reflect their use, added more descriptive subheadings, added a couple of new ones, merged a couple that had low activity, and organised them into more logical groupings. We're not at that stage here yet.
I think Srjol has done an excellent job so far and put in a huge effort in kicking off version 2, and then porting it to this version when it was clear that v2 had some issues. I don't know who is paying for the server space or bandwidth but it sure as hell isn't me or any other member / anonymous leecher.
I could say more but I don't want this to be rant (or more of one than it is). So I'll just say that Srjol has demonstrated a willingness to take on board sensible suggestions (eg the new chat) and clearly wants to make this as good as it can be. You're never gonna pls everybody (I actually quite liked the tube wall) but we can all have some input on trying to make this meet most people's desires.
