How can I see recent posts?

I posted this already this week. Perhaps this site could be tweaked to make it easier to see recent posts. I know there’s a ‘last post’ column, but as I write it displays a post from June 7, and not new threads from this week. I have no idea where to go to see new threads of the day, and by the amount of reposts, I’m not alone. Not to detract from the awesomeness of this site - but could this improved?

This relates to a previous version of this forum and is no longer relevant. To answer your question, there are a couple of ways to see the most recent or unread posts.

The Latest Activity column which should be to the right of the Last Post column you mention. This lists the last 10 threads to have had a post added. If you visit every day then this will prob suffice (it's what I mostly use).
Near the top, below the Forum-Portal-Help Menu you've got New Posts. This lists all the posts that have been added since you last visited. If you haven't been in for a week, this is a great way to see what's been posted since you were last here.
There's also Today's Posts which lists all the posts for today (your time zone), even if you've already read them.
Lastly, if you've found something you think is worth posting, you can always do a quick search for it via the Search Box on the upper right. It's efficient and quick.

Thanks for the clarification...missed the New Posts & didn't understand the distinction between Today's and New Posts.
