When I was in Barcelona, all set to try out the Spanish I'd been studying at Uni, I was bemused to find that that the Catalonians preferred to speak in the following order:
- Catalon
- French
- English
- Spanish
In short, they consider Spanish to be an imperialistic thing that was forced on them. Even thoufh they all speak perfect Spanish they'd rather speak French or broken English than Spanish.
But the cool thing is that the girls are beautiful and circumcision is unheard of ever since they kicked the Muslims out several centuries ago LOL!
