Unfortunately the Philippines has a very fucked up tradition regarding circumcision. It's not done at birth like the US, but done to boys when they're 9-12.
If you don't get it done you get ridiculed by morons like that. It's very disturbing. And you can criticize aspects of culture's without being racist. No one should be immune from criticism.
