This story seems to have blown up today and at first I was scratching my head because creams made using "harvested" foreskins aren't anything new. I guess the delivery technique (micro-needles) is the novel aspect? Or the celebrity connection?
Also puzzling is that while South Korea has a very high circumcision rate as a result of American influence, I've read that they circumcise much later as a sort of horrific rite of passage. Then again, maybe a little foreskin goes a long way and there's a sufficient supply of Korean baby donors.
Just imagine if we found out that Brad Pitt and George Clooney were getting a skin treatment made from FGM tissue. The world would be aflame.
