Well you don't have to sit there and turn a crank while it downloads, but fair enough. Agreed we should support these folks from time to time.

Yeah, sure. My focus was more on spending hours scouring sites looking for good quality downloads or torrents with active seeders as against joining a site for a month and enjoying the smorgasbord on offer. It does get expensive if you want to buy 10 individual clips all at once from c4s/mv/etc, even when they're from the same studio.
Still, given the choice between downloading at 100 kbps versus 10 Mbps, I don't mind paying a little for the convenience of not having to check in the morning whether my overnight download completed successfully.
Each to their own.
