Workin' Moms S05E05

A funny and pretty neutral scene from the Canadian sitcom Workin’ Moms (episode written by Jessie Gabe). The scene is two moms, Kate (Catherine Reitman) and Maya (Aiza Ntibarikure) awkwardly trying to explain to their young sons (who are outside peeing together) why their penises look different (Kate’s son is circumcised and Maya’s is not) while each trying to passive-aggressively imply that they made the better choice.

Okay I had some time now so here are all the mentions. Two are pretty lame/nothing interesting and then one is better and more detailed. Not necessarily positive mentions at all though.

"mommy didn't want you to have beef curtains so she had you get a little snip when you were younger, but your friend is still beautiful for having big lips down there. but it's a little harder for her to stay clean" equality right?
and also, why does there need to be no real storyline when it comes to boys? they are just peeing outside the house completely randomly and luckily the moms walked outside and...scene!

My jaw basically dropped at the S3E8 mention. This is a Canadian TV show in 2021 and being “uncircumcised” is STILL weird?? Episode written by a young female comic.

Also, the lead actresses lips scare me. Each side has loose skin hanging down.

As a canadian I never heard of this show. It's seems stupid but, it was on CBC which explains a lot. No one I know watches that stupid channel unless hockey is on maybe news.

Sad part is our taxpayers money funds that useless channel and idiots support that. CBC shows crap shows filmed in canada like this one. Not much else to say doubt this show will alter anyone's opinion here just another garbage show shocked netflix picked it up.

Calm down. This isn't 4chan. People are allowed to express their opinion, including disagreeing with what other member's have said or done, provided it's done respectfully.

This includes either liking or disliking a post. If you're happy to accept +1's you have to be prepared to also accept -1's. Tit-for-tatting is just childish.

I like to think that given time to reconsider, you would choose a more moderate response.

The lead is actually Ivan Reitman's daughter (he's the creator Ghost Busters and many other 80s blockbusters). I've always found the show pretty lame. All the jokes consist of awkward situations overlaid with sarcastic reactions-- a super tired formula to begin with, and Reitman Jr. has all the comedic gifts of a bank teller. There was a time when CBC produced clever comedy, like Kids in the Hall.

Not in this case. You've seen me around here before, I don't do things like this. But I hate when someone can say something that doesn't involve anyone else and still get that treatment you know what I mean? If I said something like "John Doe probably likes this but he's lame, I don't like it" I would expect a dislike from John Doe. But if I say something abstract about a TV show with yet another negative mention about what most people are on this site and then get downvoted 3 times, although one was a mistake, it makes me wonder about what goes on in peoples minds. I was on a youtube video the other day and a woman tried to kill her husband, then finally succeeded in killing him and the courts were iffy on how much time they wanted to give her. I left a comment with something along the lines of how guys need to be careful because we can be hurt and not receive justice. And GUYS came at me like I was the one who killed the husband. It just makes me wonder sometimes.

Well that makes sense. On Howard Stern, Ivan Reitman said when he was a baby that his family was escaping Eastern Europe, I believe Hungary, that along the border they didn’t believe the family was Jewish so the parents showed them Ivan’s circumcised infant penis as proof they were Jewish.

Agreed on all points except that actress is the creator of this terrible sitcom and deserves ridicule for that at least.
