I think there’s a general squeamishness about peeling back the foreskin because doctors (should) know it’s erogenous tissue.
My (female) GP opens mine, but doesn’t spend much time there. She always asks if I have any problems.
I also have a female dermatologist. In my annual “all over” close-up exam, she asks me to roll back my foreskin. (There’s a discoloration on the glans that we are watching.) But then she just leans over and looks, no contact.
I’ve been to other doctors who did the testicular (hernia) check, but didn’t touch nor say anything about my foreskin.
I wouldn’t mind if they did. The more U.S. doctors get familiar with healthy foreskins, the better for all.
