At the local clinic, which I've been to twice, the NP has always verbally asked prior to the genital exam "Are you circumcised?" shortly before actually examining it. I wonder why she did it that way. My second visit came years after the first, so she probably didn't remember me well. I played dumb, didn't really answer the question, and at the end she told me I was uncut and I asked her if it was a problem. She said not at all.
My usual doctor doesn't really examine my genitalia at all.
