No, she talked about how they were a perfectly safe breed long before her own tore off her ear. Now she emphasizes the importance asserting dominance over your pet to avoid being mauled. Somehow the issue is not life or death when it comes to beagle ownership.

obviously dominance-based training is falling out of favor regardless because it can encourage aggressive behavior
and yeah the issue is obviously life or death when it comes to beagle ownership, too. it would be absurd to think a beagle couldn't hurt or kill somebody and i guarantee it's happened. shitty owners and shitty breeders lead to shitty situations
