How the hell circumcision is a controversial topic in canada?
I didn’t say circumcision itself was controversial. I said expressing a preference for uncircumcised guys feels controversial; the few times it’s come up and I spoke up about my preference – admittedly mostly years ago in high school and undergrad university – I was greeted with responses that felt like they ranged from “Really? That’s weird” to “WTF is wrong with you, girl?”
The very small number of intact guys I’ve expressed my preference to expressed relief and surprise. I can’t speak to your experiences, only to mine. But in my little corner of this giant country my experience with people around my age has been that circumcised is assumed to be preferable, and expressing a contrary opinion gets you weird looks from a lot of people.
FYI I am canadian and not once have I got negative feedback from women here being uncircumcised.
Good for you? IDK what sort of a response you’re expecting to get in response to that.
Regarding the 32% RIC rate you quoted, that’s not necessarily contra-indicative. Based on my experiences, guys in my area around my age have been ~50/50. But anyone who paid attention in an intro stats class could tell you my experience is highly unlikely to match the national average.
Circumcision rates in Canada have been dropping steadily over the last few decades, so one geographically small region, considering only men in their late 20s to early 30s being ~50% circumcised really isn’t that improbable, is it?
Why would guys be surprised that a woman prefer intact guys? It’s not something me or my buddies think about so how would it be surprising?
My guess is it has a lot to do with cultural influences from south of the border. You need look only as far as Sex and the City, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, movies like Bad Moms, and several stand-up comics to see that there’s a strong media trend to (unjustly) malign intact men. It’s no surprise to me that some guys would feel surprise when a girl expresses an opinion that goes against what the media portrays as “normal.”
Your posts are bs from rates and everything else. If you’re going to troll do a better job I doubt you’re actually a woman.
I’m just not even going to dignify that with anything beyond this statement of outrage. Thanks to the mods for calling you out on this. Next time reread what you typed before you press the “Post Reply” button.
