You can just plug any cheap mic that you buy at Walmart or Radioshack into your desk top or lap top and then record using windows recorder found under the accessories menu or any freebie program that you can download. Most USB webcams these days have built in mics and can be bought online at Amazon or Tiger Direct for twenty bucks for a basic model.

I'm sure that there are iphone aps for recording audio to MP3 but I can't tell you which is the best because I'm a Nokia man.

IT'S A GO YOU GUYS! We're talking about it now, ha ha.. My sister is in on it too - they both said they'd do an audio interview/discussion and talk about experiences, etc. So, it's just a matter of getting it done.
